Life is amazing and there are so many inspiring things around us! I am interested in travelling, hiking, gardening, learning languages, reading, experimenting in the kitchen, folk dancing, yoga, meeting interesting people, and many others!

Couchsurfing is a marvelous idea. Meeting locals and getting to know them is essential to travelling. And I don't like commercial and mass tourism.

I started hosing to practice the languages I, more or less, speak and was amazed how much more I was offered. My husband and I met such interesting and inspiring people, of different ages and nationalities, we learned a lot from our guests and each encounter would leave me with so much food for thought - different travel and life stories, historical and geopolitical perspectives, intercultural observations, culinary experiences... Having guests at home is always an exceptional experience and I feel as if I myself am on holiday when showing guests around my own city and seeing it as if for the first time through their eyes.

Now, having tried CS as guest as well, I cannot imagine travelling otherwise. Without such a close contact with the locals you only see a small part of the place.

Up to now both hosting and being hosted has always been incredibly inspiring, enriching and so much fun!

I'd gladly teach people whatever I can and show them around in Bulgaria, and would be happy to practice the languages I speak, especially with native speakers.
