I'm a French native raised in the countryside within an educated family. Having a good memory and a special taste for travelling, I've got a bachelor degree of history, a Master degree of Chinese studies, spent 5 years in Asia by my own means and a hand of academic scholarships.
I love to chat in these 3 languages ! (fr, en, zh)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently moving from Southern France to Paris for studies (PhD of Chinese / linguistics), I may soon have a place to host someone!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A lot ! but not yet with Couchsurfing.org. I'm used to do couchsurfing with friend's friends', or online friends couch ;) I spent one week in Hongkong that way, meeting web friends and new people, including one couchsurfer who encouraged me to rather use CS.org

Interests

Mainly : history, Eastern Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam) ; cartography (I'm also a freelance map maker) ; education and free culture, I've been administrator on Wikipedia for years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

500km bike trip along the Taiwanese mountainous Pacific coast.
What astonished me the most in recent months/years, is the Arab spring and Indian movement against corruption. These youths are so, so, so courageous.
