Hi everyone, my name is Iain and I'm setting off to cycle around the world on the 10th July from my home in Leeds, UK. I'm currently working as an accountant at a digital marketing agency and live with my twin brother, James. My decision to go travelling was simple...there must be more to life than sitting in front of a monitor for 40 hours a week slowly watching life pass me by. As I'll be travelling for over a year, I have sold a lot of my belongings and rented my room out to cover the mortgage. I like to think of myself as being friendly, polite and always happy to try new things whether that would be doing stuff indoors (going for a drink, cinema etc.) or doing more adventurous things outdoors.

I would love to experience the culture of all the countries I'll be cycling through and to make friends and new experiences. As I'll be cycling all the way, it is difficult to say the exact dates of when I'll be passing through each country so can only give you a guideline. Please get in contact with me if you live in any of the listed countries below as I'd love to have some company along the way and share my adventure with you! As a rough guide, I am setting off from the UK in July and aiming to get to Thailand by Christmas to finish the first half of my trip.
