About Me

Welcome to my world of adventure, connection, and embracing the beauty of life! Before you request, please google DHA Phase 1 because that is where I live and it tends to be far for a lot of people since it’s about 45mins drive from central Islamabad.

Anyways, as a passionate individual working in the development sector, my primary focus lies in gender research and cyberpsychology. However, my journey began as an engineer and then shifting to the field of mental health.. and i’m still on it with full force.

Traveling holds a special place in my heart as it allows me to embrace new experiences and encounter fascinating souls from all walks of life. Although time and visa constraints limit my ability to travel tenfold (it takes about 2 months to get one visa), I do find solace in this CS community. The ability to have heartfelt conversations with the people I host- it is a momentary (sometimes long lasting) friendship that speaks to our collective humanity.

If you're seeking a place to stay and have reviews to share, please reach out, and I'll gladly check my availability. Unfortunately, at the moment, I'm unable to host individuals without any prior reviews as I live with my parents and it is not my house.

I’ve published a book, worked at a movie theater, and working two jobs nowadays so extremely busy. I’m unable to provide the true CS experience these days because of how busy I am, but you’re welcome to stay and hang out at home with me and my family. Please go through my IG profile as well to understand a little about what I share about.. as I also wish for a free Pal3stine.

Feel free to connect with me on my personal IG: iamsaadriaz

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am driven by the desire to connect with extraordinary individuals and immerse myself in the captivating narratives that unfold across the globe. Through the CS community, I aim to extend a helping hand to those seeking a home away from home, enriching their journeys with a personalized touch. In my belief, CS transcends the realms of mere meetups and casual hangouts, offering a profound opportunity for genuine connections to blossom and flourish. It is through these deep connections that we can truly embrace the beauty of shared stories and create lasting memories that span continents and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to it all but just not metal or rock,
Books: Mostly fiction novels and non-fiction philosophy stuff. Depends on the mood tbh,
TV Shows: hmm.. out of the new things, Jury Duty for sure,
Movies: a major movie aficionado so I watch almost everything, like literally! But some of my all-time favourites include Max Mad: Fury Road, Interstellar, Pan's Labyrinth, Arrival, Mulan, Moana, Ex Machina, 12 Angry Men, and Prestige..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Visited all 50 states of the United States of America.
-Shark cage diving in the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Town.
-Skydiving on top of the Skeleton Coast, Namibia.
-Meeting stars at random times like Hugh Jackman, Oprah, or Stan Lee.
-Watching fifty-something Broadway musicals in NYC & on tours.
-Driving for 31 hours in one go!
-Published a self-help book

Teach, Learn, Share

"Lost in the labyrinth of time, we wander, seeking connection, longing for meaning. And amidst the tangled threads of fate, we may stumble upon a door, opening to a world where stories intertwine." - A Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a car so if I have the time, I can help you see the city and experience the highs, the lows, the sides, the centers.. whatever you want. Although, in all honestly, Islamabad does not have a lot to offer so maybe best to stay here when you're exhausted and need a day or two to recover.

I find joy in engaging in conversations that span across a myriad of topics. From the captivating realms of cinema and television to the awe-inspiring mysteries of the cosmos, my thirst for knowledge knows no bounds. Delving into the depths of history and the enchanting world of art, I seek to unravel the timeless wisdom that lies within. Moreover, my heart resonates deeply with the pursuit of gender equality and the collective endeavor to shape a brighter future for all. It is through the art of conversation, the sharing of ideas, and the power of storytelling that we come to realize our shared humanity and unite as inhabitants of this wondrous world.
