Hello! I'm an American currently studying in Singapore. I don't know what I want to do with my life yet, but I'm very interested in marine conservation. Given that I grew up in California, it's perhaps not surprising that I love the beach (unfortunately, I'm too uncoordinated to surf) and swimming in general. I'm a big fan of other outdoors activities too - hiking, cycling and good old-fashioned exploring. Like most folks on here, I love spontaneous adventures and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The university I go to is quite international. I'm only a freshman, but this year I've loved getting to know people from around the world. I hope Couchsurfing will give me opportunities to continue to make new friends. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent several days snorkeling off the coast of Lombok with friends. Seeing schools of colorful fish as big as a small car was absolutely mind-blowing!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: This year, I picked up Latin dance at school. I'm quite clumsy still, but happy to share my limited knowledge of cha-cha, rumba, and jive with hosts.

Learn: I love picking up words in new languages!
