Why I'm on Couchsurfing
For the next 12 months, I'm traveling the world solo. The best way to explore and really get a feel for a place is to get to know locals, share stories and go out for a drink or two. My plan is to live in different cities for ~2 months each and to learn a new skill in each one. So far, it's been photography in Berlin, and French in Montreal. Help me decide what and where is next!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
On the first day of a 10-day camping/game-drive trip through the Serengeti in Africa, we saw a giraffe give birth. It was an incredible beginning of an unforgettable journey.

I recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of traveling to every continent (including Antarctica)!! Ask me for travel recommendations and I'll happily share stories about bungee jumping of bridges in Africa, and jumping off boats into below-freezing waters.
