Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in couchsurfing because it is the best opportunity to make new friends, and new ideas; discovering the locals with others. It also makes me go outside my comfort zone, and understand how people's generous and open-minded to strangers.
On the other hand as a host, it is pretty nice to discover people who belong to different cultures and countries.

I like to learn about the place from a local's point of view. History, culture, social stuff, nature, where to go what to see... I enjoy sharing some time with my hosts and guests, depending on each other's availability and interests, but it can include a walk, a tea or cooking together. I love to hear other's travel stories and I am happy to share mine, as well as information about traveling.
