About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I just moved to the LA area (Pasadena) from Salt Lake City to pursue film and acting. I finished my bachelor's degree after a good long struggle but I did it. I majored in Middle Eastern Studies with an emphasis in Arabic.
Below is my old mission which I like to keep to show the progress I have made.
(I'm finishing college at the University of Utah in SLC while simultaneously traveling the country and other parts of the world. Once I finish school, I plan to move to California to pursue a career in acting.)
ABOUT ME
Ambitious till the end. Thirsty for experience. I have one main goal in life and that is to win an Oscar. I love acting. I love sharing with the world glimpses of human life. I'm a story teller, and my medium of art is through film. I also draw and write a bit. You will never find anyone else more goal-oriented and driven to success than me. I grew up in Chicago, IL for most my life (so far) then moved to Long Beach, CA for a while before moving to Salt Lake City, UT where i finished my college degree in middle eastern studies and arabic. Ive begun my life long goal of pursuing film in california and live in the LA area. I grew up in a diverse household. My father is a Pakistani-Muslim and my mom is an American-Christian (Mormon, to be specific.) Been around the world, and ready for more. I can't wait to drink life up.
PHILOSOPHY
"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible."
-- T.E. Lawrence

Teach, Learn, Share
I believe I have a unique perspective (at least compared to most americans). I grew up bi-racial and bi-religious. My father is a pakistani Muslim immigrant, and my mom is an American born mormon Christian. They both instilled in me a tolerance for people with different cultures and beliefs. I grew up with a very personal relationship with acceptance. Both my parents are still together and happy with their individual religions. Though they never push it on anyone. I've had an odd experience growing up in the US. Im never american enough for Americans, and I'm not pakistani enough for Pakistanis. I exist in a limbo state.
