Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1. First, because I believe that meeting people—especially locals—is one of the most important parts of any trip. It’s the best way to truly feel the culture and understand the mindset of a place.

2. Second, no one knows a city better than the people who live there. Through Couchsurfing, I get the chance to discover the special spots and hidden gems in every place I visit.

3. Third, it’s honestly a pleasure for me to host. I love showing people my country and being a good representative of it.

How I see Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing should be about sharing cultures, making friends from around the world, and getting inspired by meeting different people. It should not be used for profit or for anything unrelated to the spirit of this amazing platform.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don’t have any “special superpowers,” but I can definitely share a few things with you :)
I can teach you how to play the guitar, share my interests and personal philosophy, help you practice Hebrew or Spanish, and show you how to cook some delicious oriental dishes from my country.
And if we travel in nature together, I promise to bring plenty of enthusiasm with me!

I also discovered Vipassana meditation during my time in India. I can teach you the basics and share my experience, but to truly understand it, you should do the full 10-day course—it’s a powerful technique, and the course is the best way to learn it properly.

I’ll be happy to share everything I can about my culture and my country.
I’ll bring good energy, good vibes, and some music from my guitar.
I try to stay open-minded and spontaneous wherever I go.

But more than anything, I hope to learn from you and from your life experience.
