ABOUT ME

Hello couchsurfing community! I am Ignacio, a long-term user of this platform . After many years living in Chile, I’ve recently moved to Vancouver to explore the life in the north and explore the BC mountains 🏔️

My friends and close ones describe me as an adventurous , kind-hearted, easygoing, and warm soul. I love being outdoors and staying active - playing sports (last years tennis in particular 🎾) or going on adventures including hiking, camping, and kayaking. I truly value having deep and meaningful conversations accompanied by a good coffee, beer or glass of wine.

I also enjoy cooking, gardening, hosting gatherings, dancing salsa, and going out once in a while.

I may be available to host depending in the request and timing but please take the time to go though my profile before reaching out . I really appreciate genuine messages and the spirit of community here.

Since i am still new to the city, I am also interested on expanding my social circle and building stronger connections within the community. If you live here or will be moving soon, let’s chat, grab a coffee or beer, go for a walk or just chill! I’d love to meet you

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do not like this section. I find a bit meaningless and superficial make a list of "amazing things", it does not tell me anything about a person at all. I will rather tell you about my experiences and listen to yours in person while we get to know each other :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always up to teach some Spanish and unique chilean slangs :) Sharing is caring! If you meet me or stay with me you will most likely get invited to join a dinner together or any fun adventure!

Be curious rather than judgmental! I enjoy learning by actively listening and asking questions. Even though it is difficult to stay offline this days, I invite to leave phones asides and get to know each other.
