My name is Ihar. I am from the small town of Babruysk in Belarus, but I currently live and work in a hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I am 23 years old, and I adore traveling! I can travel by airplane, by train, and I also have extensive experience with hitchhiking. I love the Couchsurfing platform because it has allowed me to find many friends and meet many interesting people. I am on Couchsurfing because, for me, the most important aspect of travel is the people. Through meeting locals, I can see the real picture of our world. They share invaluable insights about their countries that you can't find in guidebooks. It's amazing to live with them for a day or two, experiencing firsthand how they live and what really happens in their countries. This connection with people adds depth and authenticity to my travels, making each journey truly unforgettable.

I have studied Turkish and Finnish, and at the moment, I am in love with Brazilian Portuguese. Each new language opens up a whole new world to explore and understand.

My favorite music is by Billie Eilish. Her songs have been a constant companion during some of the hardest times in my life. The depth and emotion in her lyrics have a unique way of resonating with my feelings, almost as if they were written just for me. Her music not only provided comfort but also helped heal and fix my heart when I needed it most.
