I am twenty-four and I live in Marseille, France. I work for a consulting office on urban and social issues.
Thanks to my studies, I became curious about history, geography, and cultural issues. I lived one year in Chile for an exchange and it was such a great experience. I met so much people from all around the world, and that drove me eager to know more culture from all over the world. Iam open-minded and eager to learn new things, especially after 2020 and COVID lockdowns.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people. In my opinion, this is the best way to discover the culture of the country you are visiting ! It enables you to truly experience it. I "Couchsurfed" in Chile and Argentina, it was a great experience.
I know that the trip I prefered where those were I was hosted by natives. In the same way, I loved meeting people and discovering their market gardening activities by doing woofing.
Also, couch surfing reminds me the school exchanges, but between adults so that the contact is easier.

Interests

As my entire family, I am passionate with music since I am 5. I play flute and piano. When I have free time, I love to go to the cinema sometimes to watch arthous movie, and to see my friends around a cup of coffee or a beer. I really love to cook and share a meal with other persons. Also, I love to discover new place, even in my one town, and live some adventures, especially by hitchiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music from classical symphonies to techno sounds. my favourite film makers are Clint Eastwood, Xavier Dolan, Hayao Miyazaki and Woody Allen. And if I had to bring only one book, it would be "Harry Potter" because it has been all my childhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 10 I went in Bosnia (near Zvornik), for a school trip. I was hosted in a farmin a local family. Of course I didn't speak serbian at all or even english at the time, and my pen pal either. So we had to find a way to communicate, often by gestures. But we succeded and it was wonderful to discover what it was like to travel, with our children innocence !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you the french culture, major places to visit in France or in my region, french movies to watch... I also can teach you french (or spanish) and it would be so so nice to share with you a piece of music ! Unfortunatly, it's complicated for me to host you because I live in a shared flat... But if we have met before during a trip, I m sure it could be thinkable ! And if you are in Marseille, I would be glad to show you this city, that is so amazing and meet you around a cup of coffee.
