My name is Ilja and I am from Vancouver BC, Canada. I have Swedish and Finish heritage and lived in Stockholm for a year when I was fourteen. I traveled in Europe this past summer and am now settled in Manchester, England for the foreseeable future. I love art, music, skin care, media studies, fashion and traveling. I love meeting new people and learning and experiencing new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing primarily because I find that it brings about a far more natural and enriching travel experience all together. You have the chance to meet locals, make friends, find out their favourite places in the city/town, places you often would otherwise never have found and share stories and experiences.
