I have been doing well as a jewellery designer in England but have had the chance to acquire a year long work visa for New Zealand so jumped at the chance. I love traveling sooooo much , makes me feel alive . I especially like the more outdoor life and beautiful scenery so New Zealand is the perfect choice. I am very interested in couch surfing while there as I feel it will be a great way to get to know your culture better. Also I will be about 10 years older than most other backpackers so what I'm looking for out of my trip will ( i imagine) be different from them.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing as I traveled in Australia a couple of years ago with my Ex and he used the site. we stayed with a lovely man and It was nice to just be in a proper home when you are so far away from your own . So it's a couple of reasons really. To submerge myself more fully with locals and to feel comforted by having someone let you into their home and make you welcome . It reminds you that there are good interesting people in the world .

I obviously love making jewellery . while traveling this year I will be designing a new men's range. I also love upcycling furniture and may try and do this out there to make a bit of money . I like to paint and sketch, explore, walk, read, cycle, I'm newly obsessed with the International Space Station . I love animals and would like to hopefully work with them while I'm out in New Zealand. Im interested in eco/off grid living, conspiracy theories , mayan history, different cultures, art history , design of ALL kinds .... anything really . I find most things interest me

I've found, after many years of being lost, my passion in life. Which is designing and making things . Jewellery for now but who knows. I can't recommend enough following a dream/passion no matter what age you are . it's so worth it in the end, and you only remember living once so do your best to make it happy . I was 28 when i decided to go back to Uni and i haven't looked back since

I can share my love for art and my thoughts on the world .I could tell you about making jewellery and if i have any wax and tools on me I could show you how to carve something to be cast in metal.
I'm a pretty fun confident person who should hopefully have you laughing . I have a very positive outlook on life and this can be contagious. I would also share my cooking obviously , Its only polite :) Im not so sure how great i am at it though !
