I have lived a full life but its not full enough yet! I have worked as a deckhand on fishing boats deep sea, have worked riding and teaching horse riding, ran my own wee craft business and have worked in the horticultural industry. Being close to nature is what makes me feel alive. I have just finished studying horticulture in Galway city. I love to travel and enjoy the differences that make us all wonderfully human. I lived for almost 30 years in Donegal and moved here 2 years ago. I love to chat and meet new people. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I cant get out to see the people of the world than the people of the world will have to come to me. I live in a town outside Galway city beside the sea. The beach is at the end of the garden. Feel like I should share that with nice people. My daughter has been hosting for a few years and I have met some lovely people through her. Also I like having guests.

Gardening, spinning , felt making, net mending..... you know what I'm over fifty years of age I can teach lots but Id love to learn so much I just dont think I will live long enough.
