ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm a student from London at the end of my year abroad in France. I love art, all sorts of music, watching films and exploring new places.

Bonjour, je suis étudiante en français, je suis anglaise mais je suis à la fin d'un séjour en France comme partie de mon diplôme. J'aime l'art, la musique, regarder les films et voyager.

PHILOSOPHY

To try and appreciate the best aspects of any situation, to try and see beauty as opposed to flaws and to accept others.

Interests

I play the flute, piano and am teaching myself the ukelele. I love drawing and going to exhibitions at museums and art galleries. I also do a lot of sewing and making cards and pictures to send to friends. I also try to improve my French as much as I can at any opportunity!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music: folk, pop, indie, classical, motown, disco - My favourite songs are by Gabrielle, Luther Vandross, Isley Brothers, Lifehouse, Young Romans, Chromeo, Coeur de Pirate, BB Brunes and Corneille

I watch lots of films, mostly comedies, dramas, police and rom-coms. I love French cinema, my favourites are 'Intouchables', 'Les Petits Mouchoirs', L'Arnacoeur', 'Ne le dis a Personne' and 'Bienvenue Chez les Ch'tis'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is winning a trip to China and going there in December 2006 for a week

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach cooking (vegetarian), basic sewing skills or English and would love to get better at the ukelele and improve my spoken French as well as learning other languages.
