I'm a 71 retired Dutch woman wo likes to travel. I don't smoke and seldom drink. I live in a small town not far from the sea and bush and like going for walks or bikerides. When I travel I like to sleep cheap and have more money for adventure activities or travel longer. I have done three organised camping trips of 4-5 month through Africa, South America and overland from London to Nepal. I also travelled several times to Canada when one of my sisters moved there but not just to her. I also traveled to Australia and New Zealand where I settled after working more then 20 years in Switzerland. I have done housesitting for friends to look after the dogs and like visiting friends. I play Croquet and table tennis.

I heard of coach surfers from friends and one of them was a host. She enjoyed meeting the travelers and hearing their stories like me, as you often connect with other travelers which not everyone does. It also connects with locals who can give you ideas what to see in the neighbourhood or habits and customs of the place country. I like to sleep cheap and do more exciting adventurous activities for the money.
