I'm quite lucky because my work ask me to travel arround indonesia often, alhamdulillah i have been visiting 29 province in indonesia for free 😃😃😃, 5 cities more will complete!!

So i have contact in almost all arround indonesia and they are all very nice is it like i have a lot of sister and brother or even parents every where. I try my best treat all my friends and my surfer as my family member

I live in sleman area actually is it in the north of Jogja, at Small village in front of the biggest police station in Sleman (POLRES SLEMAN) Jalan Magelang km 12 Krapyak Triharjo Sleman

How to reach my home?
Go-ride/Grab bike/Go-car/Taxi its easier
Or you can try our public transportation, mini bus (Jogja Tempel) and stop at POLRES Sleman
From there 5-10 minutes walk to my home
Some local will say i'm stay far far far away, but for me not so far away arround 10 km from landmark of JOGJA (TUGU)

Ride motorbike in Yogyakarta is the best, easy... cheap and you can explore a lot
Go with Gojek / Grab / Taxi sometimes easy to go but not to going back especially if you area going to the place far from the city (outside jogja city)

In my area everythings cheap especially food... you can get :
porridge with vegetable with 3.000 IDR
10pcs chicken satay and rice 12.500 IDR
Delicious fried noodle or fried rice 10.000 IDR
And many more...

If you want to meet local... stay at silent place, fresh air and learn about local culture i think in my area is right choice. Close to Sleman traditional market and go to traditional market is one of my favorite activity

There are a lot of Home Industry nearby my area such as batik crafter, food, handcraft etc

I have a lot of friends in Jogja and others cities in indonesia so everythings sometime more easy when you have friend and you can do all of thing together, never feel borred

And my mom is best on cooking... maybe you can try how delicious food made by my mom and learn how to cook from her, even i can teach you but i'm not best like my mom because she is working as a chef for quite long time especially for manadonese food

I'm collecting magnet and i really love dark chocolate, please if you dont mind you can bring one for me from your country
