Hello there ✨

I am Inês, I'm 23 years old and I am currently living in Bangkok for my exchange semester 🇹🇭

I study full-time in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands 🇳🇱 even though I am from Portugal 🇵🇹

I am also a teaching assistant in the University and I teach some classes for first year courses 📚

Besides studies and work, I have some hobbies as well! I love photography and one of my goals is to make more time to learn new techniques 📷

I would describe myself as a bit nerdy as I love reading and learning! I enjoy reading about more serious stuff but I also read for fun quite often! I am a Potterhead ⚡️ It really brings me the best memories from my childhood and that's why I enjoy reading (and watching) it so much 🧡

Even though I am a bit shy at first, I love meeting people from different backgrounds and have nice talks about our cultures or habits 😊 Trying to see the world through other people's eyes is one of my favourite exercises!

I also love trying different things, especially when it comes to food: Indian food is my favourite so far 🇮🇳

Weirdest thing about me: I laugh (a lot) every time someone sneezes, don't ask me why 🙈

I'm new on Couchsurfing! I am travelling around Asia during my exchange and I would really love to meet more people on my travels, instead of just seeing places 😍

I have never tried Couchsurfing before, but it sounds like a really smart and cool idea!

🎵 My favourite genre is rock, but I listen to many kinds of music every day! To be honest, I usually listen to the same playlists on repeat 🙈 but I also like to randomly find new cool tunes!

🎥 Thrillers, dramas, I like any movie that makes me think or that has a strong message!

In Bangkok, I have been teaching some refugee children from Myanmar since they cannot go to normal school.
