To see as many places as possible with lowest budget imaginable. Get to high places, swim wherever the risk of dying is below 100% and pet all the amenable cats along the way.

Easy-going homebody who occasionally sets off on potentially ill-advised adventures to see as much of the world as possible. Fascinated with foreign languages and people, couldn't give less of a damn about food (blasphemy!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because this is a unique place where like-minded people can gather and get in touch with one another, and it's a life saver if you happen to get stranded in a strange city when all the back-up plans fall through. Also, a great way to make connections across the globe, and the hosts are an irreplaceable source of local knowledge you won't get anywhere else.
