Hi! I am Inge.

I'm a friendly and cheerful person who enjoys dancing and theatre, especially burlesque and improv. I also love visiting botanical gardens and being around nature. I am currently on a sabbatical from my work and use this time to travel to new places and meet new people.

I have often been 'tourist' but now I want to experience the culture from the perspectives of the locals, so I want to stay in Melbourne for 4 months and take up hobbies and volunteer work to get to know the Australian way of life and make new friends!

On 6-24 Oct I will be in Bali because my friend is marrying in Java and doing an "post-wedding trip" with friends and family in Bali, but I also want to explore Bali on my own.

I’m here to meet people, share meals, and exchange ideas. I enjoy cooking and would love to do a cooking exchange with my host. I think it’s a great way to connect and learn about each other’s cultures and daily life.

I have done a multi-day hike in the Himalaya mountains in Nepal and the jungle of Sumatra (Indonesia). I have done a course of paragliding in Italy. I have been to BOOM festival in Portugal twice, which also is it's own world!

I like to help with cleaning and cook for hosts some of the evenings. I enjoy chatting and doing activities with hosts if we have similar interests.
