ABOUT ME

I think I am a happy person, easy to speak with and interested in many things.

Jörn and I began traveling the world many years ago, before Mobile Phones. We are still traveling in a way that will make us meet new people, rather than simply sunbathing.

We live in Höganäs, 20 kilometers from Helsingborg.
We are 80 kilometers from Malmö and the bridge to Copenhagen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and share experiences with them.

We have searched for new experiences during our travels, particularly enjoying our cultural interaction with people. Our time spent with students in Soviet Russia who showed us St. Petersburg. A friend I met in 1963 in Rapallo, Italy and am still in contact with!

Lately we have started hosting Couchsurfer's and feel that hosting is a way of traveling and making new friends. One of our surfers has returned and we have been hosted with her family.

We have also surfed in Capo Verde and England.

Interests

Have visited more than 60 countries so far!

I want to visit many more and several times.

I also like to read, see movies and of course work in my garden and to be with my family and friends.

Seen Wild mountain gorillas in Uganda

Seen Orangutangs and Nose- Monkeys on island of Borneo

Have slept under the sky in the White desert of Sahara.

I have also visited all countries in "old" Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak fluent English and have helped people improve their language skills during my travels.

I can teach you to make different food dishes from Sweden.

I enjoy conversation and sharing laughter.
