I’m Cansu from Türkiye. In 2023, I spent a semester abroad as an Erasmus student and I got to chance to travel in Europe. I traveled to 13 countries and many cities, met amazing people on the road and made so many friends also amazing memories. When I come back, I had my own apartment in Izmir. So even though I couldn’t travel due to my studies, I hosted many from Host a Sister group. Now I’m going on a backpacking adventure for a year and so excited for my new adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though I’ve only had the chance to live abroad once, that experience opened up countless travel stories and memories for me. I met incredible people and travelers on the journey. Since I often travel on budget, staying in the hostels made it even easier to connect with others.
Until the day I get to pack up my backpack and explore new places, I’ve decided to keep the spirit of sharing alive by hosting guests. So while I’m around here waiting for the day I need a host, I’ll be happy to welcome travelers as guests 😊
