Hi everyone! I'm Irene, I have been vegetarian for 6 years, I've switched to vegan since a couple of years and I'm from Italy :)

A little bit about me!
I'm an outgoing girl, who enjoys spending time among different types of people and laughing and learning together! I really care about the environment and I love learning new things and that's why I'm trying to set my life with an eco-approach.

A little bit about my past!
After graduating high school I worked a variety of different jobs until I decided to further my education and attend a Pastry Academy 🎂🍪🧁 and that was the starting point of my career. However, lately, I understood that I was watching my life from the wrong perspective.

In the Summer of 2020, I attended a PDC (Permaculture Design Course) in Tuscany and that was what made me open my eyes to a totally different way to see the world and gave me the inspiration to challenge myself and change my life! To be honest I've always felt like something was wrong in my routine and after that experience, I began to understand better what I needed to change... It took me a couple of years to find the courage to quit my job and start to travel!

So from June 2023 to December 2024 I did a backpack solo travel from Canada to Nicaragua (+ Japan and Taiwan🤭)

THAT HAS BEEN THE BEST PERIOD OF MY LIFE: TRAVELING AROUND , KNOWING BEAUTIFUL PLACES AND MEETING AMAZING PEOPLE!😍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From that year an a half of traveling around I REdescovered how beautiful people are, how simple is to create connections with someone who's at first a complete stranger and then they become friends.

Cochsurfing tought me that kindness still exists among people despite all the terrible things the human kind is capable of!❤

I'd love to keep create deep, genuine connections with whoever I'm gonna find on my path and when I can I like the idea to give back what all this amazing community gifted me ✨

I enjoy reading interesting books, especially about nature, self growth and spirituality but I also like romance :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2017 I lived one of my dream and I visited Machu Picchu

In 2023 I've quit my job and started a solo trip for a year an a half a little bit around the world

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to put Yoga, meditation and some fitness in my schedule more than what I did so far but it's not always that easy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

To me food is a passion! That's why I love cooking and experimenting with recipes where I sometimes mix Italian traditional dishes and new ingredients! I'm an excellent baker and love making bread and pizza. If you would like I would love to show you!
