Hi, i'm Iris a 33 years old Dutchie. I am an easygoing, social person who absolutly loves travelling. If have travelled to quite some places all over the world, but there is always something new to discover.

While travelling i like to meet new people and discover new places. I really like nature and sports; so in my opinion hiking is a great way to discover new places.

This time i am travelling to the middle east, central asia and now heading back towards europe. I hitchhiked to quite some places and went wildcamping. Being close to nature, meeting locals along the way is the way i prefer to travel.
I would really like to get in touch with locals to understand the country and it's people a bit better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always like to meet new people. Its really nice to just have a chat, hang out together and have good conversations.
Couchsurfing is the best place to get in touch with local people instead of just travelling to a country and staying on the touristy trail and meet other tourist

I really like traveling. Being outdoor, hiking camping, cycling is my favorite way to spend my time.

Hard to say, but Into the Wild is one of my favorite movies. Travelling around being close to nature is something I am always trying to do on my own trips aswell
