ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors (camping, canoeing, ski, mountaineering), sports (soccer and volleyball) gardening for food, biking for transportation, cooking & eating, volunteering for sustainable community. Interested in social issues, politics, and inspiring people.

I live with my fiance, Matthew (also on CS: http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=KU053HK).

This year, we just returned to ottawa after a year long stint to volunteer in Liberia, West Africa.

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

LOVIN' IT!

I have not couch surfed much through the project, but so many people have been so wonderfully generous to me while I travelled, I have stayed at great places.

Have hosted a few couchsurfers at my home in Ottawa, and some random cyclists in Liberia.

it's amazing to experience the generosity of strangers that you have just met, and also it's the very best way to get to experience a culture!

It's also a cool way to do fun stuff with locals instead of taking the tour route.
