PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the universal law of Karma. As Christ said " You reap what you sow". I have chosen to reap love, compassion and hospitality to all those- and especially my guests on this site! Do what is kind, do what is right and it will likely happen back to you. Even if it doesn't, you still have the benefit of knowing you did the right thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet more people. I love to hear new stories of others experiences and to share in traveling together. I will admit that it is a bit of an addiction of mine. I have literally met thousands of people from almost every single country on the planet. I love hearing new stories and learning from others. Sharing your stories and ideas is one of the best ways to promote peace and understanding in this world. Traveling opens up a whole new horizon for you!

I joined in 2008, but did not start to immerse myself until 2010. I have since hosted around 10 events and helped out many more. Ive hosted about 300 people (many people did not leave references and some had multiple people- I once hosted 8 people at the same time!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At this point, I have met thousands of people through this site. I have had an amazing time! I can genuinely say its been a life changing experience as it has helped me overcome my prejudices and see so much of the world I would have not got to see otherwise!

Thank you so much! If you check with my references they will tell you that I am a very kind, generous and accommodating host! I have also experienced some AMAZING hospitality!!!!! Thank you everyone!!!! Roughly 98 percent of my experiences on this site have been more than positive. There have been a few apples who were just looking to get free stuff. But I would not trade this site for the world!

I also love the idea of turning others on to CS. I have signed up 6 personal friends, and I think that it is beautiful to tell others and also host events so that they can participate. More people doing that will spread this site to the moon and back!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The North Korean acrobats- in North korea! I was a little tipsy off honey beer and it really added to the performance. I truly have never seen anything as amazing and mind blowing as that...
Also, paid to have an orphanage renovated in Cambodia, that was fulfilling.
Got to visit over 30 countries- write 2 books. I got killed in a Kdrama. I am sure i am missing something worth writing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I have went through school and studied many subjects, I have found the the wealth of my knowledge has come from meeting others and experiencing the world. I have learned so much from talking to others and simply living and growing. This has been invaluable for me. I enjoy sharing stories and exchanging information and ideas. I think a conversation should be a two way street and I am frequently writings quotes from other people during conversations! Really.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will definitely cook you a meal if you host me- you can choose betwixt Mexican or Asian! . I am also up to helping with chores, in fact I prefer it (I have a bit of a cleaning fetish). I have many amazing, funny, sad, outrageous stories from my travels abroad. I think you will not be disappointed to host me!

I know how to be a good guest as I am excellent host and know how to enrich the cs experience! I really pour my heart and soul into hosting and I see it as making the world a better place one night at a time.

Of the countless agreeable nights, of the countless laughs and goodbyes, CS is the best site humans have ever craeted this side of heaven!
