Quirky lad living on the Mediterranean!

I am originally from Ghana but have been living in Sicily for 9 years.

I love meeting new people, I’m very sociable, and I always love to have different experiences!

I work as a window and door installer and I love my job! I love seeing the results of my work, and seeing the client happy at the end of the day.

I’m super excited to host (and get hosted) and laugh it up with people all over the world.

I live in a spacious apartment, a little outside from the city but easy to reach by car (just 15 minutes away from Catania by car).
There’s a bus station as well which is just a 5 minute walk from my house.

The beautiful mount Etna is a pretty big deal around here. You can mountain bike, hike, run, camp or even ski during the winter time.

And then we have the amazing Mediterranean coast. You can easily rent a car or go by train or bus to visit all the cute little towns in Sicily! We have some truly marvellous beaches around here and Sicilians are delightful, funny, helpful and very sociable!

I live alone; I appreciate clean and respectful people, and I’m interested in getting to know you and your traditions, typical foods and holidays.

I am open to hosting smokers but as mine inspo a non-smoking household I do ask that you do not smoke at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new to CS and I’m super super excited to see what it has to offer. I joined following the advice of a close friend who’s had a lot of fun using this app so I’m very interested in trying it out!

I can’t wait to travel the world making meaningful connections with the people I meet along the way and visit every place like a local! 🌍

Interests

I love all music, especially classical and pop music.

I love going to the theatre and to the opera, we have an amazing theatre here in Catania called Vincenzo Bellini, if you go you are truly going to live a wonderful experience. I also love that it’s an interest I share with my parents, we often go together.

I love sports. I’m a good soccer player and I play for a team here in Catania.
I also enjoy going running or biking from time to time.

I love travelling and I would love to explore more of the world.

I am a volunteer with an organisation called “refugees welcome” which helps refugees get accustomed to the city, and new culture and rules and everything else they might need.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built a well for the people of my village and it’s something I am super proud of!
My new mission is to build a soccer field for my village.

Teach, Learn, Share

I always love to play some soccer! We could play together or I could teach you if you’re interested.

I’ll share my adventures with you and I’m hoping you’ll do the same and maybe we can find some cool inspiration from each other.

I also like to do modern dance; sometimes I practice with a team, I help them out with lifts. It’s super fun if you want to try it out. I swear I can make you feel like you’re flying.
