ABOUT ME

I enjoy finding experiences just outside of my comfort zone. I believe that's where life gets exciting!

I've been a traveling consultant, a "road warrior", for 21 years. I work hard and enjoy the freedom and travel benefits of this lifestyle. I also lead a volunteer organization called Lend a Hand. I take groups of volunteers to help non-profits in the Tampa Bay area. Maybe you can volunteer with us if the timing is right! I plan to become a full-time international volunteer someday.

I enjoy road cycling, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and cooking semi-healthy meals. I do not eat red meat, seafood, or gluten (unfortunately). I'm a light social drinker, a non-smoker, and don't do drugs of any kind (nor allow them in my home).

I have hosted and stayed with a few CSers and really enjoyed making new friends! I hope to have many more hosting and surfing experiences! I also attend local CS events in Tampa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While traveling in SE Asia I met many people who had couchsurfed all over the world and it convinced me it was time to try it!

I can share how to travel solo and never be alone (if you choose). I can share meditation techniques. I can share tips on how to be frugal. I can share tips on starting a small business. I love to help people improve their English! I'm sure there are lots of other things!
