Hi! I'm Ivan, born and live in Moscow. I have studied engineering in the University and my specialization was cryogenics (it's a branch of physics that deals with super-low temperatures). Though I'm an engineer by profession I have switched my specialization and now work as a software developer. I am a fan of active lifestyle and spend a lot of time traveling around the world. My favourite way of travelling is bicycle tours. It's a great feeling! I participated in many long-ranged journeys on bike in Russia, Finland, Iceland, Central Europe and I like very much this kind of activity. Besides the biking, I had a lot of "wild tourism" experience in Russia, when your route goes far from the cities and you completely fall in nature. I did about 20 trips on sailing catamarans and kayaks. Mostly it was in the North of Russia: White, Barents, Baltic seas and Karelia. I also travelled in Okhotskoe sea by Kuril islands (far east of Russia), Baikal lake and Caucus. I'm an active member of AEGEE. It's non-commercial European student organisation that deals with culture exchange, travelling, trips organisation, trainings e.t.c.
