CURRENT MISSION Figuring out where I go from here ABOUT ME Well, I`m pretty much fresh out of college. I am currently teaching english in Japan. I tend to be fairly flexible about most things. I enjoy being social but also need my own time. I enjoy the outdoors. My academic interests are politics and philosophy. I am a huge movie buff, and I love animated shows such as the simpsons, futurama, and family guy. I am also a huge seinfeld fan. I am a huge Kungfu movie fan too. Bruce is the man. I am not sure what else to say so I hope this helps some of you. If you have any questions just let me know. PHILOSOPHY Still fine tuning the personal philosophy stuff, but I kinda see myself as a sponge, in that I am trying to soak up as much as I can. I try to find the humour in things and try not to sweat the small stuff. I like and want to travel because I figure the more I experience how others live their lives the better I will be able to figure out how I want to live mine.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE No real couch surfing experience. I have stayed with friends before in other countries but I haven't tried crashing at strangers houses.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: fight club, american beauty, usual suspects, high fidelity, the first matrix, ghost in the shell, office space and zoolander to name a few. Music: Modest Mouse, white stripes, blink 182, sublime, jimmy eat world, death cab for cutie, Jurassic 5, mos def, black eyed peas, tribe called quest, and beastie boy.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I guess the most interesting thing I've seen lately was that I ran into about a 6 foot white tip reef shark while snorkling on a different island of okinawa. I guess it was a little scary at the time, but he didn`t seem to care that I was there so it all worked out.
