Hola!!

I’m from Mazatlán, Mexico.

I consider myself a calm, respectful, and easygoing person. I really enjoy sports and an active lifestyle; I love outdoor activities, the ocean, and traveling.

I work in the maritime field, and after spending long periods isolated at sea, I realized how important it is for me to take small breaks and reconnect on land. Because of that, I started traveling solo in a more backpacker-style way, taking advantage of good flight deals and letting the journey unfold naturally.

When I travel, I adapt easily, I’m clean, and I treat spaces with care, as if they were my own. I enjoy meeting locals, exchanging experiences, and moving around in a simple, relaxed way.

I’m also an amateur extreme sports enthusiast. I enjoy activities like surfing, longboarding, paddleboarding, aggressive inline skating, snowboarding, and pretty much anything involving boards or adrenaline-filled experiences.

I’m especially drawn to underground scenes, nature, and experiences that feel truly local—the more local, the better—though I always stay open to new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveler;
I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to expand my experiences and life stories. I like becoming part of the places I visit, even if it’s only for a few days, meeting kind people, and taking home good memories of them.

I’m opening myself up more through travel. Long conversations don’t always come easily to me at first, and sometimes I’m not sure what to add, but staying with complete strangers helps me step out of that comfort zone. Once I feel comfortable, I usually don’t stop talking 😄. Couchsurfing helps me grow in that sense and connect more naturally with others.

As a host;
I live in a great area of the city, and I really enjoy meeting people from other countries, learning about their cultures, and making sure they leave Mazatlán with a great impression and good memories.

And above all…
I really want to practice and improve my English through real conversations and everyday interactions!
