Read my couch description before you send a request for hosting in London!
I'm a laid back guy but I enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone every so often. I like to explore.. it is my curiosity about the world that sparks this. This same curiosity drives my interest for getting to know other cultures and customs.. something I find fascinating.
I'm still trying to find it; to know myself and to know others. To be considerate but also challenge injustice. To remove sources of discomfort and to help others do the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed extensively and have had the opportunity to host on a few occasions. I've met up with groups in various locations too.
I think couchsurfing should be used for more than just finding a place to sleep.. it is an excellent way to share culture and spread ideas as well as getting to know an individual.
I couchsurfed my way from Sweden to Turkey and picked up friends and stories along the way. I've hosted in Norway and here in England too.. sometimes its more fun that surfing!
I have interests in sport (particularly football, so if you play maybe we can share a game), science, philosophy, literature, film, chess and many more subjects! I usually have an opinion on a matter but I am more than happy to learn about a subject too. I enjoy occasionally drinking and socializing which has lead me to try performing at open mic nights and even led me to joining a band.
Music, Movies, and Books
Pulp Fiction, Contact, 2001 a Space Odyssey (and everything else by Stanley Kubrick), The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, The Beatles, Catch 22, Dune, Fight Club.. just to name a few

Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about the customs of cultures other than my own.
I can teach people about my own culture, traditions and the language. I have some interesting stories from my travels to share too.
