Currently I'm traveling in China 🇨🇳 for the coming 4 week (my wife Kathi - Photographer will be following after two weeks).
I would be deeply grateful if you would give me the chance to get to know the country, its culture and language more in depth, than just by observing it on the streets. The memories which I make by speaking, listening and experiencing I'll never forget.

I'm very interested in the entrepreneurial system and possibilities, technology, achitecture and building industry (commercial & sustainable). On the same note, I believe that cross pollination in ideas, lifestyles are highly beneficial.

In my spare time I roam the outdoor through - hiking, running, swimming, snowboardimg, skatbparding.

This means, that I enjoy to get out of my little bubble of awareness and follow couriosity, listen to stories of other people or share mine experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past years I have been travelling all around Europe, mainly by hitchhiking. On my trips I was fortunate enought to meet many very nice people, which gave me a safe place to stay.
Now that I have a house with my wife i would like to share this luck also with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I once hitchhiked to Berlin and didnt have a place to stay, i got talking to a girl on a parkbench.
As unbelievably as it might sound.
As we where chatting, and I explain my situation, she passed over the key to her flat to me, and asked me to stay, because she was gone on a trip with some friends for the rest of the week.

This huge amount of trust, is so unimaginable. Thank you Sophie!
