I have been told I am nice, polite, timid, stubborn, crazy, straightforward, forgetful, and chill. Believe it or not, these are words given to me by friends and strangers.

I am a pretty open-minded and open-hearted person. I follow my gut and that doesn't always mean doing the fun/crazy/exciting thing. But I am always willing to learn to follow the instincts of those I trust :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to be enlightened, I want to grow, I want to thrust myself into change, I want to experience what this life has to offer with an open mind and open arms.

I hosted while I worked in Yosemite for about 3 years and I hope to do the same thing in the future (Glacier NP!). I did a bit of surfing in Paris, Germany, and Georgia (the state, not the country) while I was visiting those places. I learned some good lessons and I hope to impart some of that wisdom to others.

Interests

I love to read, write (mostly poetry), listen to music, play video games, paint, watch movies, cook, dance, have a good time. I'm always up for trying new things and expanding my horizons.

Anything artistic is almost always in my realm of interests. I also enjoy bouldering when I get the chance. Museums, zoos, aquariums, etc. Fun and educational is also a good way to go. Being outdoors and surrounded by beautiful things is my ultimate peace, especially near water.
