About Me
Important :
*I don't accept requests from people without references, with incomplete profiles and from those who don't make an effort to write a personalized request (please write why you would like to share time and being hosted in my home, what we have in common or what did you liked about my profile that resonated with you)
*I may host one person only!
It is not easy to be objective when talking about myself, but I may say that I am very curios, happy, sociable person who finds beauty in everyday life and simplicity, enjoying in small things. I especially enjoy learning new things (skills or languages) and expending knowledge regarding mindfulness and human nature. Connecting with different people and cultures in order to better understand the world is something I am very passionate about. Volunteering, spending time in nature, hiking, cooking, doing different crafts and making meaningful connections are things that motivate me to explore this beautiful world.
My motto is that in any trouble lies opportunity!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my opinion, apart from expending views of other cultures and places, being a CS member really helped me in molding my personality for the better. I don't take things for granted anymore and I appreciate more small things. It helped me to get out of my comfort zone and to trust in humanity. Having luck to meet local people while discovering some new place has completely changed my experience of traveling and gave me opportunity to discover places with local perspective, and I am so much grateful for that chance. I made friends from various places around the globe. Also opening up my place for some amazing travelers has given me the chance to share my culture and love for cooking. I was able to help travelers having better experience when being in the area where I live.
It is very important to mention that I don't accept requests from people without references. When I have decided to join CS and had in mind to organize my first trip, I hosted at first . For me it was important to know how it looks to have somebody unknown at home and I wanted to gain references before searching for hosts. Even persons not able to host can join some events or meet other members and with gained references have more representable profiles.
I don't bother to answer on messages or request from people with incomplete profiles or to those that didn't make an effort to read my profile.

I enjoy learning new things - during Covid I have done two online courses with embroidery and I find it as a form of meditation, and for some time I am doing embroidery on digital photo. You may check my embroidery Instagram account

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy in different kind of music depending of my mood - world music, indie..right now I enjoy listening to Khruangbin, City of the Sun and Jose Gonzalez.
Movies are my big passion. In general, I like independent movies ( Lost in translation, Her, Horas muertas, Toni Erdmann, Tanna...) and documentaries.
In past couple of years, I found it very rewarding getting to know myself better through exploring modern psychology, doing yoga and researching about self-growth, finding balance and peace and I stumble across many amazing authors (Neal Donald Walsh, Christiane Northrup, Stefanie Stahl, Alehandro Hodorovski, Vejn Dajer, Clarissa Pinkola estes , Eckhart Tolle, Lujza Hej, Debbie Ford...)
Aside from that, I like modern literature. Haruki Murakami is my favorite writer - South of the Border West of the Sun, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, Dance dance dance ; Daglas Adams - The hitch hiker`s guide to the Galaxy; Peter Esterhazy - Woman, Jostein Gaarder... I like fiction, philosophy, adventure...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess that some people will mention swimming with sharks, skydiving, conquering the highest mountain peaks, kissing mad cobra or something more dangerous :D
Well, I had some great adventures traveling across Latin America in particular, and I was so lucky to explore places that I ever thought I will experience, but nothing appeals to me worth mentioning as an identification of who I am. Those are just things that has enriched my life experience and that actually were lessons to teach me live fearless because whenever going from a comfort zone great things happen!
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone is unique and by letting someone near, your world expands - it is an exchange of life energy. The more you give the more you are able to gain back. I carry a special memory on many persons I met in my life. I learned a few great things from different people (a few of them I met through CS).
For sure I can share good energy a lot of laughs and my humble home.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very respectful with people and environment, positive and tidy. In my opinion respect and team work are the essence of being a good Couchsurfer. I like to spend as much time as possible with my guest/host but I am very adaptable and open for ideas . I find quality over quantity when spending time with someone and I am always willing to help with duties in the house or cook. As an easygoing person I act in accordance with the way of life my host practices .
