ABOUT ME
ALL about me? Heck, even I don't really know..haha
- My personal motto in life is "Don't be average!"
- I just finished my MBA at IESEG School of Management in Lille, France (previously studied marketing and management in Manila, Philippines)
- I used to 'officially' work for Unilever (finance then marketing) and Citibank (risk management)
- 'Unofficially', I'm also an internationally-accredited coach with the National Cheerleading Championship (even used to be part of the national team - Southeast Asian champions!) and an adult volunteer with the youth-oriented NGO called CISV International
- My main sport right now is rugby (been playing for a pretty good team in Manila, now playing for a pretty good university team in France)
- I have traveled to/lived in at least 18 countries (50+ cities), most notably China (4 months), the USA (6 months), the UK (2 months), France (6 months and counting)

PHILOSOPHY
I am a citizen of the world more than anything else, and I would truly want to be a positive influence on everyone around me, to live my life for others in one way or another because in the words of St. Ignatius of Loyola, "To give is greater than to receive." (I was raised a Catholic, but am not particularly religious)

Well...I send out a lot of CS requests...and get declined a lot of times. :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CouchSurfed across the Netherlands with a Czech friend and France with a Kazakh/Russian friend 2 years ago when I was an exchange student in Lille. It was an amazing experience - didn't regret a single moment! Had to work the past 2 years after graduation though, so I haven't been active in a while.

Interests

Sports (Rugby, Football, Cheerleading, etc.); Theater (I was an actor myself back in high school) and dance (hip-hop and modern); love watching TV comedies like HIMYM, The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, Big Bang Theory, 30 Rock, also Star Wars, Game of Thrones, the X-Files, Supernatural, True Blood, etc.; I don't have a lot of time for gaming, but I love racing games and Rock Band; I enjoy working out and keeping fit (I regularly run in races, irregularly actually win lol); I also like learning new languages - got English, Filipino, Chinese and French under my belt..gonna work on Spanish and German soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies
I grew up on science fiction, but enjoy good dramas as well. Comedies always get me in a good mood, and thrillers are best shared with friends!

Music
My first real musical passion was metal. I had my classical music phase as well, but am now hooked on classic rock. Pop for me is only sometimes enjoyable.

Books
Wow, I love the classics! I also enjoy Coelho, Poe, Tolkien, Eliot, Gaiman, Rowling, Brown, Nabokov..the list goes on! Hate Twilight though, sorry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a CISV volunteer, I led a Philippine delegation of 4 eleven-year olds (2 boys, 2 girls) on a 'Summer Village' in Lisbon, Portugal. It was an absolutely magical experience with 12 delegations (48 kids) and volunteers from 16 countries, all living, loving, playing, singing, eating, sleeping, hugging and laughing together for 4 whole weeks!
