ABOUT ME

I am 30, I own a spa where I practice massage therapy. I also teach and perform bellydancing and barre classes... I love my job because I get to meet lots of really interesting people and hear their stories :) I have three kids (ages 5, 8, and 11) and they are wonderful :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am open minded and try to live a positive and healthy life while experiencing other cultures as much as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm mainly a couchsurfer (I like to travel for workshops/conferences), but I'd be happy to host if anyone ever has a need to visit Kirksville, MO! (Unlikely lol but hey, I'm here). I have a guest bedroom but I have also hosted up to 6 people at my spa (it has a shower and multiple massage rooms that can be used as bedrooms if we are closed)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at someone's place in Arlington,
VA during a massage workshop and then my husband and I couchsurfed in Zion, IL for a bellydance show. I am hoping to utilize this more as it is much more fun to meet people and much cheaper than a hotel!

兴趣

Bellydancing, cooking (mainly Middle Eastern or Thai food), any other dancing, massage therapy, traditional Thai massage, camping, bonfires, painting/ artsy stuff, live music, ethnic food, the zoo and other fun stuff like that, traveling, Egypt, hearing people's thoughts on life and spirituality, attempting to teach myself arabic

I work alot and don't read much fiction or watch many movies (I do enjoy them though!)
Most of the books I read are about mindfulness, yoga, Buddhism, massage therapy stuff, research about Egyptian culture and dance...

I like most music, but especially Jack White, Coheed.. 90s alt rock in general. Hip hop when I'm working out.
In reality, all I really listen to is bellydance music most of the time :p
