ABOUT ME

We are three travelers who grew up together in little Santa Cruz, CA:

Jamal: 22 years old, musician, film-lover, lifelong student. I play and record music in a 2.5 person band try to see the ocean at least once a day. Having graduated last spring, I work as an administrator for a start-up website. I am generally very quiet but I love to joke and find the humor in everything. I spent 2 years living with shifting foreign exchange students in college and always love to meet people from around the world. I've traveled to Canada and Mexico, and extensively in the US.

Kalani (Jamal's girlfriend): 23 years old, animal lover, reader, thinker. She is adventurous, always pushing us to try new things. She goes on walks and to the gym most days, and works at a coffee shop when she has to. She has traveled to Canada, Mexico, Greece, Italy, Holland, France, and Germany.

Tessa (Kalani's sister): 18 years old, curious, adventurous, silly. She is studying at a local college and working before going to university in the spring. She makes very cool anti-war and pro-environment t-shirts by hand.

All of us love animals and dogs especially. All three of us are vegetarian. We love meeting new people and making friends from all over the world!
