About Me

Hi! I’m a friendly and easy-going guy living in Arusha, just a short walk from Rafiki Juice Bar (great spot if you ever want to grab a drink or dance!). I love meeting new people from around the world and sharing stories, laughs, and a bit of Tanzanian hospitality.

I’m generous by nature, always ready to help or show someone around. I believe in kindness, respect, and a good sense of humor—life’s better when we don’t take ourselves too seriously!

Whether you’re in town for safari, volunteering, or just passing through, I’d be happy to offer tips, good vibes, and maybe a juice or beer together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to meet interesting people, make international friends, and share the beauty of Arusha and Tanzanian culture with travelers.

I love learning about other cultures, hearing different stories, and helping visitors feel welcome. If I can make your stay in Arusha more fun, relaxed, or unforgettable—even with just a small gesture—I’m happy to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 Music:
I love music that lifts your mood and makes you move! One of my favorite songs is “Mirror” by Justin Timberlake—smooth, deep, and powerful. I also enjoy Afrobeat, gospel, and anything with a good rhythm.

📚 Book:
“The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale really changed how I see life. It taught me to focus on hope, inner strength, and the belief that good things can happen—even when life gets hard.

🎬 Movie/Series:
Bel-Air is one of my favorite shows. It’s full of real emotion, strong characters, and powerful life lessons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done:
I once helped a group of lost tourists find their way back to their lodge during a sudden rainstorm in Arusha. We ended up sharing stories under a small shelter, laughing while soaking wet, and I even walked them halfway back to make sure they were safe. They still message me to this day and say it was one of their most unforgettable moments in Tanzania. It reminded me how small acts of kindness can turn into great memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

✨ Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can teach you some basic Swahili, how to dance to African beats, or even how to make a simple Tanzanian dish. I also love sharing tips about life in Arusha, local culture, and even a few funny phrases that will make locals smile!

Learn:
I’m always open to learning new things—especially languages, cooking styles, and how people live in different parts of the world. I’d love to learn more about travel stories, music from other countries, and maybe even a bit of German, Chinese, or Spanish if you know it.

Share:
I can share good stories, local food spots, hidden gems in Arusha, and my time. If you’re looking for good conversation, a walking companion, or someone to laugh with over a cold drink, I’m your guy. Life is better when we share smiles, not just things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you cool local spots around Arusha, take you to great street food stands or a lively bar like Rafiki Juice Bar and help you discover the real local vibe—not just the tourist version.

I’m happy to share stories, help with Swahili, show you how locals cook or dance, and make sure you feel at home in Tanzania.
