Hi! Nice to meet you already. My name is James of age and I'm born in the Netherlands. One year ago, I sold most of my belongings in Sydney and traveled without any specific plans to Australia. It was quite a hard thing to do since I had no no clue what would happen, but I knew it had to be rewarding. Something had to come on my path that would change my life completely. And so it did. It wasn’t, however, a specific occurrence or key person that changed it, more the whole journey itself was a school of life to me. I love to travel, surf and learn from new experiences.

couchsurfed once back in 2016 My experience was so rewarding, that I wanted to do it more while traveling alone in Australia. In my opinion, the good thing about it is that you get to know local people in a short period of time (sometimes longer), and you always leave with new knowledge and/or skills. I learn something; they learn something, and there's a perfect blend of cultures happening every in the world thanks to couchsurfing.

I'm very open minded and I love to learn new things. I truly believe that core of man's spirit comes from new experience. In return, I can I can teach you how to kitesurf, cook great (Dutch) meals or do yoga together.
