To learn Spanish! I feel handicapped as a monolingual Brit!
I'm a wacky, happy and talkative 24 year old who enjoys making people laugh and smile. I caught the traveling bus after graduating university and now I hope to use all of my generous holiday time, searching the world and learning about people.
I usually don't try to over think this sort of the thing at the risk of sounding too sure of myself. I think it's important to be open to different ways of living your life. I work hard for what I cherish and believe in and like to make others happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far so good! I've stayed in a couple student accomodations which were just what I needed. I've not really settled down anywhere for very long, leaving my availability to host to be somewhat lacking.
Cooking, outdoor activities, music, dancing, youtube videos (nerrrrrrrd), short books, shopping.
- outdoor activities
- bungee jumping
Music, Movies, and Books
Ohh goodness, I'd hate to sound boring, but pretty much anything. I tend to forget the plots of movies which gives me the freedom to watch them over and over. With music, most things, bar country and maybe screamy rock. I buy books, then take agggeeeesss to read them. That's why I like short stories or epistolaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hearing the air rush past my ears whilst bungee jumping in Colombia was pretty spectacular!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a mean cook and complete food geek so I could teach anyone a little more about food.
I teach science for a living, so science I guess.
I can speak a little Spanish, so if you're looking for directions, I can try and help haha.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dinner, conversation, ideas, and smiles? I tend to pack light, but I always have plenty of the following to share.
Countries I’ve Visited
Colombia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
