To take on traveling while I have the means and the drive!
I just finished an 8 year career with the navy in 2011. From there I took on a year and half of travel that included sailing the Mediterranean and teaching English in Moscow. Since then I have had a few jobs that led me to move to San Francisco and become a system operator for wind turbines.
I personally feel everyone should strive to create their own vision of the world. If you haven't found that vision than go out and find it!
"Good company, good wine, good welcome make good people."
âTravel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.â

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I started out by helping any surfers make their way through California.
I kinda wish I could put a podcast in this part. As a consolation I'll just list surfing spots and a few things I did.
Lake Tahoe- Rock climbing over Emerald Lake
Tarragona Spain- Great host toured me around the city and taught me a how to properly siesta
Antigua- meet up with surfers for yacht crew parties in the Caribbean
LA- great group of people for drinks, hikes, and hang outs.
Grand Canyon- greatest impromptu road trip to date.
Moscow- Taught English and stayed with a CS host for a month.
San Francisco- Helped organize and hosted many events and surfers. Including a weekly CS meetup.
Every adventure out there!
