Overview
About Me
Howdy! I'm a creative director/facilitator/digital designer/entrepreneur. I love making graphic and 3D art, motorcycling and dirt-biking, climbing, exploring nature, exploring philosophical discourses, traveling the world, and connecting with new people and new cultures.
I'm usually based in the Sierra Mountains of California. I've co-founded a company called Montaia, an international co-living community and remote digital agency that offers branding, web design, and digital marketing services to an innovative global client base.
My bio says my work is "informed by a life-long interest in collaboration, community, and inter-connectivity, sometimes known as the “inter-subjective” or “we-space”: an approach that acknowledges that offerings focused on the collective can’t be created by the individual alone."
Along with my partner Kaela, I co-produces an international Connectivity Conference which aims to broaden the connections we have with ourselves, each other, and the planet by promoting collaboration, community, and cultural evolution.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love people and the spaces between us. I believe creativity and innovation arrises not from the mind but from conversation, collaboration, and connection. I'm on CS to meet new folks and experience their worlds and share my own. I truly, perhaps naively, want to make this world a better place. One way I know this can happen is through authentic connection. And what's a better way to connect then sleeping on someone's couch in their home in their city.
Interests
Meditation, nature, reading, learning, movies and documentaries, motorcycles and dirt-bikes, integral and evolutionary philosophies, adventure, new experiences, ecstatic dance, legos, paper-crafts, parkour.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't choose a favorite, right now I'm loving season two of Abstract on Netflix. A brilliant documentary series about brilliant designers. Also the Dark Crystal. Favorite books have to be about culture, philosophy, or personal development. If I picked a fiction book it would be Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, without a doubt. Music: whatever Spotify recommends for me. It's gotten to know me pretty well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Co-created an amazing temporary intentional community for 3-months this year in Bali, Indonesia. I can't take full credit for it but it was the most amazing thing I can remember.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach design, craft, art, basic music, and parkour. I'd love to learn new cooking skills, communication skills, and movement or meditation practices. I can share connections with learning communities around the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Let's collaborate or co-create something. Also happy to cook or clean :) I'm very chameleon-like, I would love to drop into a new world and fully experience it by adapting to it. I can sit at home and have a quiet, contemplative conversation, or we can go out on a wild adventure.
