ABOUT ME I was born in Argentina, but spend most of my childhood and youth in Germany, in a small city between Cologne and Kassel. After living & studying in the Netherlands and UK, I'm now a graduate student in sociology at the New School. I like studying a lot and can get very enthusiastic about the things I read; but certainly there are many other ways to enjoy and learn about life. I travelling can definitely be one of them. I have been doing couchsurfing quite a lot of times and in different places - most of the times I enjoyed it a lot. It allowed me to get to know different, interesting people I probably wouldn't have met otherwise; learning about other perspectives on life is something I value and seek for, independently of whether I agree with them or not.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I did a lot of couchsurfing during my semester abroad in Mexico -with some of the people I'm still in contact today.
Music, Movies, and Books
...the last movie that made me laugh a lot was Wild Tales (Relatos Salvajes) ... lately, I'm reading many books by Philip Roth, also because so many of his stories play in Newark/New Jersey and I like reading about a place that's close to where I live and I don't know that well; and Zadie Smith is also new on my bookshelf
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One of the bike trips already mentioned was a unique, and I'd stay pretty amazing experience: With a good friend of mine I went on a cycling tour from Central Germany to Crotia; what is great is that you only travel as fast as your body allows you too; you also discover your body and what it is able to do in a completely different way; and we just had a wonderful time going swimming in the cold and clear Croatian sea.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I like cooking, and even more so if I cook not only for myself but for more people - for past CShosts I have often prepared a dinner as a little 'thank you' and these last evenings of sitting together, eating and drinking, were often filled with great conversations.
My Interests
I enjoy cooking, cycling & swimming, and reading, of course. I love doing long cycling trips over summer - doing sports all day, cycling through changing landscapes/cities/amazing nature, meeting people on the way,... and staying at campsites. A few years ago I cycled with a friend from Germany to Croatia, and last year my husband and I cycled through France.
