ABOUT ME

easygoing, friendly, vivid, happy, outgoing, talkative, active, humorous, like laughing and going out and always need something to do. I am curious to get to know new people, thoughts, views of life and lifestyles. After finishing school, I went to Australia for 10 months of work and travel, I also extended my regular studies at German university with an ERASMUS semester in Madrid and Donostia/San Sebastian so I like to move around and adapt to new places and new people. For the last years I have spent the summers in Iceland working as horse tour guide. This winter I will make my way to New Zealand to again work with horses in the North :)

I grew up near Dresden, a beautiful city - so I can give you advices for your stay there or meet up when I am there at some weekends.
For hosting, it really depends where I am at the moment. Just give me a text and find out.

A great way to look beyond the superficial view you get as the "standard" tourist, and to meet local people.

Interests

Travelling, laughing, dancing (salsa, latin, ballroom), nature, hiking, viewpoints and lookouts, swimming or just relaxing at the beach, sunny days, sunny minds, forests, ice cream, cooking, food and eating in general. sleeping, music, horseriding, running, seeing new places, walking barefoot, sunrise and sunset, good talks, long nights, being happy...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I really enjoy all kinds of music, I am really tolerante: rock, metal, electro, reggae, ska, folk and country, indie, alternative, always depends on the bands or DJ's. I love live music and dancing and you'll make me happy if you take me to a bar with a live band playing. :)
And, I love festivals! Simply a village fair or a small music festival or holi festival of colors, I am always amazed to see that people come together to celebrate

Books - When I was younger, 50% of my freetime I would spend outside and 40% reading. I loved books, because they took me to another world. But now that I am older I think to myself - instead of reading those fancy, fascinating, exciting stories - imagine you could go out and live them yourself. Travel the world instead of reading travel advices, fall in love instead of reading love stories and run with the wind instead of reading adventures of someone else...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- worked in a Hotel made out of ice and snow... www.iglootel.de, did cross country skiing at -18 degrees, saw polar lights and met reindeers
- survived 10 months in Australia, with the highlight of a skydive next to the beach and the awesome view above the sea and the islands
- keeping great contact to my family and friends and meeting up regularly - having truly meaningful relationships is so important for me
- learning surfing
- ran 20k half marathon
- helicopter flight over Antigua+Montserrat
- Northern Lights and Midnight Sun in Iceland. 5 Days Horse Trekking in the highlands with a free running herd. 1 Day hiking part of the Laugavegur

Teach, Learn, Share

Share memories, experiences, views and laughter and create new awesome memories together! We can speak english, german, french or spanish - so I could help you improve that languages or learn the basics. And I am always curious to learn new words in other languages. I like cooking and learning new dishes, for sure I could show you a "typical german" dish. I can show you around if I have time and give hints for travelling Europe, Germany, Australia, Spain, Iceland

I am interested in basically everything you are willing to teach me.😃

I also respect if you don't have that much time to spend with me, no worries.
