About Me

PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT: I live about 25 km out of Cologne in the beautiful nature, the public transport takes about an hour to reach Cologne. I just answer to messages who show that the writer knows that I DO NOT live in Cologne! And I just answer to requests with 2 nights or more (I do not host for one single night). :) Thanks!

About me:
Young heart, old soul.

- Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. (Neale Donald Walsch)
- Everything you want is on the other side of fear. (Jack Canfield)
- It is difficult to find the happiness in ourselves. And it is completely impossible to find it elsewhere. (Nicolas Chamfort)
- Happiness is only real when shared. ("Into the Wild")

I believe in a very strong force in this universe, in this world, universe and in everyone of us (like a huge "conciousness"), that makes everything possible. I learn to let my healthy and healing thoughts and wishes form my reality (instead of my fears and demons), because I know that I am responsible for my own destiny. I am not waiting, hoping, longing for great things to happen - I make and let them just happen. That's why I live exactly the life I've ever wanted - indeed without knowing before how it would look like. The "conventional" frame many people chose for their lifes is nothing I decline (it offers security and it's the way we were socialised), but for me, not all but much of this is a barricade I like to get over again and again. I found my niche and I search and create it again every day, and I take full responsibily for my life, my happiness and my decisions. It's amazing how much possibilities there are from the moment on you realize that the conventional habits are just ONE way to go. The only thing that's continual is the change. I learn how to let go and let in. Nothing happens without "reason", I believe that everything that happens is a hint for me - to stop, to enjoy, to learn, to think, to change, to grow. I question the world and my life every day, never stop searching, never stop being courageous to face problems or challenges (possibilities to learn and develop!) and being absolutely thankful for every second of this incredible life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing had a huge impact on my life. I am very very thankful for that. I love couchsurfing because I love the idea of giving and taking in a big circle of wonderful people. I love it to trust people and to communicate open-minded. And I love it to support people who travel, because I think that travelling is one of the best things you can do in life (although I don't support it to endlessly, because taking airplanes without thinking about it is nothing we should just unconciously do to our planet, and I think being aware of the privilege to be able to travel is also important.)

I am into CS since 2011, surfed by myself a lot in Southamerica and hosted tons of people with my ex flat mate. We never had much space in our appartment, but we both were so much into CS that finally we lived together in his room and my room was for the couchsurfers. :) It were amazing times.

Now I live for some years already in a flat community outside of Cologne because I need nature much more than stone and streets, I still love Cologne, but I don't want to live there any more.
I share the appartment with one lovely guy and one woman who's a friend - and a crazy amazing cat named Paul. (There are some other people living here, but not with us in our appartment.) I am still open but I don't host much any more, first because most people want to stay in Cologne straight and second my flat mates and I really appreciate the calmness here most of the time. It's truly different now that I'm 40, my needs changed. :) Still, I like to be present and visible here and offer help/sightseing/... and maybe host here and there again, let's see.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tons. Not possible to pick single ones. Every moment is a highlight, even in those moments when I am not concious about that. Thankful and grateful for all the experiences which I was allowed to make up to now. Pain included.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to meet people I can talk about spirituality and life to, about the universe, fears, intuition, about everything our brain will never understand all the deep stuff. I am no small talker (although small talk can be good and important). A deep and honest talk can teach us a whole lot. Good and open communication is one of the keys in my life. Also communication about how we communicate, by the way - one of the most important topics for me. I think there is a lot going wrong with communication between humans, such a pity ...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking, I love talks, I am funny, I can make people laugh, I love hanging out with inspiring people and be loud and creative, I love just sitting togther next to each other in silence and read a book, I love outdoor activities and exploring, I love listening to music, sometimes watching series, doing crazy things, I can teach German ... If you host me, you won't regret. We can share a lot!
