About Me

Former couchsurfer(?). Blessed to be able to spend time with my wife both in Norway and Brasil. Prefer the sun, good sleep and early mornings. Trust in personal growth as well as creatine, and the importance of routines as well as creativity. Used to be more social. Believe in change, chaga and things you can imagine. Lets see where that takes us.

Note: APOLOGIES to all of you that sent me a couchrequest i did not answer the last years, I have rarely been logged in here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in the days I hosted and meet people when traveling. I have many positive experiences as well as good memories.

Interests

I love old, used bookstores, clouds, reading and writing, homemade juice, weird documentaries, things looking like a face (thats not), water, shy people, some art, vegetables, mushrooms, a well organized grocery store, cheese, kombucha, brownies. I also like walking for a long time in a new city, getting lost, looking for a hidden treasure, ever exploring. I want to read more, travel slow and live long, but unremarkable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Moondog, Kikagaku Moyo, Larry Norman, Mike Scott, Sigur Ros, Muse, Mutantes, Michael Günther, Mogwai, Manic Street Preachers. Man From Earth, Matrix, Butterfly Effect, Kindzadza, Donnie Darko, Totoro, Kung Fu Panda, Twin Peaks. Everything from Wes Anderson, especially the Amazing Mr Fox. Chesterton, Lewis, Zweig, The Man Who Was Thursday, Perelandra, The World of Yesterday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drinking mineralized water in the magic city Karlovy Vary.

Teach, Learn, Share

I myself am not too wise but once I went on an early morning walk in the mountains of Kyoto, where I passed a shinto munk burning inscense in front of a Shrine. He instructed me to meditate and said: "Mind is nothing. Listen to the water."

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Chile, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lithuania, Morocco, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
