Hiiiii this is Julianne from Hong Kong (wait… we don’t like Jacky Chan!). A big-time city girl who accidentally became becoming a dive instructor and converted to the island girl, never went back to her city life and constantly getting herself stuck in different islands 🌊

Did my first short solo trip in 2019, when I was 17, inspired by a book written by a female solo traveller-《如果流浪是一種練習》 . Since 2022 when COVID almost ended, I’ve been away from my home country, managing my time between working in different countries and travelling (was meant to just stay in Egypt for 3 months then go back for my studies but ended up getting a job and leaving my studies behind) 🧭

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like adventures and travelling a lot. Couchsurfing is a good way to travel while learning more about people and cultures while leaving a place with new friends ❤️

I’ve met a lot of nice hosts and friends from Couchsurfing or hostels which helped me a lot (they were some truly amazing adventures and I can never stop talking about them). Whenever and wherever I have my own apartment, I always try to help other travellers in return.
