I use couchsurfing when I am traveling. I also have a place in Jyväskylä where I can host guests when I'm not on a business trip.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of many amazing experiences I've had was when I was travelling to Tibet on a train. I woke up around 5 o'clock while the rest of the passangers were still sleeping.

I looked through the window and outside was completely dark. In order not to let the light from the aisle disturb me I had to wrap my head inside the curtains and keep it really close to the glass.

As my eyes got used to the darkness, I could see that the whole sky was filled with stars. The air outside was crystal clear and the Milky Way stretched across the sky right in front of me.

As the sun started slowly rising, the silhouettes of the distant mountains started appear in the horizon, the first time I've ever seen anything like that in my whole life.

While listening to my favorite music I was completely spellbound by the scene for almost two hours. Finally when the first rays of the sun reached us, I knew I had witnessed something I would remember for the rest of my life.

If I close my eyes now, I can still feel the coldness coming from the window, hear the relaxing sound of train moving and feel the excitement of heading to the unknown.
